Knowledge is Power
The inspection by Triangle Inspection Services, Inc. (TISI) includes, but is not limited to, a complete examination of areas such as:
Heating and air conditioning systems
Electrical system
Roof covering and framing
Structural integrity of interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and floors
Foundation and drainage
TISI inspections are performed in compliance with the standards of practice established by the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board. These standards were patterned after the ASHI standards.
TISI does not engage in repair work, but the home inspector does indicate repairs of a minor or major nature that are needed. The inspection report can also provide suggestions on maintenance and energy that would add to future enjoyment of the home.
Don't take unnecessary Risks
The homebuyer who does not insist on a home inspection is taking a common, but needless, risk. Minimize future problems by requiring that an inspection provision be included as part of the purchase contract.
A home inspection can be equally important for anyone selling a home, or for anyone who wants to know the condition of their current house.
How much will the inspection cost?
The price of an inspection is determined by the size and age of the home to be inspected. It is a minute investment for the benefits reaped from increased knowledge about your home or future home.
The detailed inspection report is tangible evidence that you as the homebuyer have the awareness you need today to insure satisfaction for many tomorrows.
